dh-python software package provides Debian helper tools for packaging Python libraries and applications, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dh-python
dh-python is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dh-python package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dh-python *
You will get with dh-python package name, version, architecture and description in a table
